Musings Of A Wordsmith

The Wallace Works Blog where our resident Wordsmith and others talk about what is going on and what may come.

Who Are These People?

I know this is subjective, but isn’t life? I feel the question we ask, when we read a story even if we do not know we’re asking it is. “Who are these people?”

I know, intellectually that is not always the case, but why else is character so important?

Because who the story happens to is as important was what the story shows you.

Opinion Statement.

Whenever a story challenges me, or slows me down I ask this question. And I often find I am being challenged because I don’t know who these people are, or because I’m not showing YOU who they are.

Strange that it has taken me this long to articulate that thought. Mayhaps I should say it is fortunate that I can, now, articulate it?

Pro-tip, frame everything in positive direction so you don’t beat yourself up when you improve.

Thank you for listening to my musings.

Take care and may good fortunes be yours.
