Unfinished Business is the Burden of the Living

Sorry to be more serious and political today than usual but I feel it needs to be said.

Like many I admired Ruth Bader Ginsburg. She was a hyper competent woman who made it to the highest echelon of her profession through skill and determination.

She was not a perfect woman and I did not agree with all the rulings she made. She was human and as such I disagreed with her on some maters. However on the balance I agreed more than I did not, and she did much for the United States of America.

And now she’s gone.

But to quote a wise character from a wonderful series. “Unfinished business is the burden of the living.”

Her part in the growth of this nation and the transformation of its ideals is done. Ours is not. We do not live in a bad country, but we do not live in a perfect country and as long as it is within our power to make it better we posses the responsibility, the burden of doing so.

Rest in Power Justice Ginsburg, the rest is for us to do.
