The World IS Big Enough To Love

If you follow my twitter @wallace_author you may already know this but over the weekend I got away from Life and everything to get out into the woods and surround myself with nature.

It can be quite difficult, particularly in these times, to get away from the mundane and the the weary things of life that try to bring you down.

I am blessed, I know, to be abled to afford such times, and to have friends I can safely enjoy such times with. I hope and pray that you all have or can find such moments, such friendships as well.

As food nourishes the body, friends nourish the soul ad it is in such moments, during such times that I am truly appreciative of the love I am shown.

Also cooking steak outdoors over a fire is always fantastic! Or vegetable stew if that’s your preference.

We cannot always escape the chains of our world, not bodily at least. But we can in our heart, in our spirit and I find our friends are the key to such things, and for our friends we can be the key to such things as well.

Everything can feel so small, so crowded, so claustrophobic when things look poorly, but the world is bigger than that. Every friend, every love, every good deed done or received grows the world a little more. And trust me there is more of the good in the world than the evil. The evil is jus5t so terribly hard to ignore.

And we must not ignore the evil.

But don’t let it cause you to forget the good. When you do, when you find yourself sliding into that dark narrow place turn to your friends and let them open your world and help you into that shining, bright place.
