Merry Christmas

And a happy holidays to all.

Today, December 21st 2020 marks quite the convergence of events. It is the Winter Solstice, the last long night of the year and from this point forward the days grow longer.

This, of itself, is a cause for celebration among many religions as well as the secular celebration of more sun and the march toward spring.

It is also the time of a very rare occurrence called a “Christmas Star” where Jupiter and Saturn drift so close in the night sky that they may appear as one massive glowing object.

All about, it seems, beautiful and miraculous things are happening, as though the universe itself is telling us there will come a renewal and we will reap its reward.

Perhaps I read to much into things, or project what I desire. But if so, so be it. I choose to believe in coming wonder and pray that you and I will revel in better tomorrows.

May the coming days and nights be filled with cheer, love, and recovery and may the coming year treat you far better than the last.
